Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring immediately for a full-time Grill Cook at U.S Venture Cafe, 222 West College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54914. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Prior grilling or cooking experience is required, and online applications are accepted only.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. We cook everything from scratch using fresh, local ingredients. This role prepares foods at the grill station and serves customers while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

Minimum grilling/cooking experience required.
Experience with high-volume food prep preferred.
Ability to work Monday–Friday with early start times.

Responsibilities

Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
Serves customers efficiently and follows steps of service to ensure quality.
Uses established recipes and production standards to ensure proper portions and temperatures.
Carries pans, kettles and trays safely between stations and equipment.
Stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating and safety procedures.
Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas and utensils.
Attends in-service and safety meetings.
Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
Performs duties safely and as assigned.
