Original Roadhouse Grill in Long Beach, NY is seeking a Grill Cook to prepare, plate and garnish hot appetizers and entrees. You will read tickets, set up work area, follow recipes, and coordinate with the Restaurant Manager.

This role requires strict adherence to health and safety standards, FIFO rotation, labeling and storing, and maintaining personal hygiene. You may operate the dish machine and assist with salads and raw product as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sets up work area, equipment and utensils.

• Prepares items ordered according to recipe book.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Rotates products according to FIFO principle.
• Covers, labels, dates and stores prepared products.
• Maintains high standards of personal hygiene in compliance with local health ordinances.
• Cleans work area, stores utensils, disassembles and cleans equipment.
• May operate the dish machine and prepare salads and raw product as needed.
• Follows all health, safety, sanitation and security standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
