Job summary

Paycom seeks a kitchen team member in Baton Rouge, LA to plan, prep, and provide quality service across kitchen stations. You will ensure food quality aligns with chef and management standards, while maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

Responsibilities include using established recipes, managing station setup, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The role requires flexibility with day and night shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Regular on-site attendance required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Flexible and adaptable with strong stress management skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend work regularly and on-site.
• Adhere to state sanitation/health regulations and hygiene standards in food prep.
• Know and use equipment safely; report repairs to management.
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.
• Set up station with required tools and supplies per standards.
• Monitor production schedule and keep stock at accepted levels.
• Prepare food using established recipes, portions and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe condition of tools and equipment.
• Store food properly with date marking.
• Perform food temperature checks before shifts.
• Transport supplies from storeroom and stock designated areas.
