This role offers $18–$20 per hour with weekly pay, health insurance options, and a schedule Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You will work with a small team to deliver quality café items.

Job Summary

We are looking for a strong, experienced Cook to support kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food service, cooking, or kitchen operations and be comfortable preparing multiple orders in a fast-paced environment. This position will involve preparing meals according to established recipes and food safety standards, interacting with customers, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Support daily kitchen and café operations
• Prepare and cook food to order while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Follow established recipes, portion guidelines, and food preparation procedures
• Prepare menu items such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, and other café items
• Prepare and serve a daily special as needed
• Manage multiple food orders at the same time during busy periods
• Take customer orders and provide professional, friendly customer service
• Communicate confidently and professionally with customers, doctors, staff, and leadership
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area
• Properly handle, store, and prepare food according to food safety standards
• Assist with stocking ingredients and maintaining supplies
• Follow proper sanitation and food-handling procedures
• Support the kitchen team and assist with additional duties as needed

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior 3 Years experience in food service, cooking, short-order cooking, line cooking, café operations, or a similar kitchen environment required
• Strong customer service skills and comfort interacting with customers, doctors, staff, and leadership
• Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with customers
• Experience working with special diets or dietary restrictions is required
• Kitchen leadership or team-support experience is a plus
• Ability to follow recipes, maintain portion control, and follow food safety standards
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple orders at once
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs. as needed
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• ServSafe certification is preferred
