Job summary

Parkhurst Dining at Hamilton College is hiring a Grill Cook to deliver great food and service on a 4:00 PM–12:00 AM shift, with one weekend day required. Another Grill Cook role runs 8:00 PM–4:00 AM Thu–Sat with pay ranges $18–$20 per hour. Join a fast-paced kitchen team serving the campus community with quality food and guest service.

Qualifications

• Grill cook role with ability to prepare items to order.
• Stand/walk for 100% of time and lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Team-oriented with friendly, professional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all grill items to order according to the daily menu.
• Set up, break down and clean the grill station.
• Prepare service line for operation as instructed by Executive Chef and/or Management. The line is to be garnished properly at all times.
• Check quality of food items, making sure they meet standards of taste, appearance and correct temperature. Report any substandard quality to the Executive Chef and/or Management.
• Interact with our guests in a friendly, professional manner. Use Smile Plus Hospitality Imperatives.

Job description

Join our team at Hamilton College! We are currently hiring a PM Grill Cook to help deliver great food and service to our campus community. This position offers a schedule of 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with one weekend day required, and a pay range of $18-$19 per hour. We also have another Grill Cook role that is 8PM-4AM Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The pay range for this is $18-$20. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a passion for preparing quality food, we'd love to hear from you.
