The Role:

As a grill cook, you prepare mouthwatering food and create exceptional experiences for our guests. You are essential to our success, from maintaining food quality to engaging with guests and fostering a positive environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Observe food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Follow recipes and procedures to ensure food quality and consistency
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards and CAVA policies
• Restock and organize cook stations
• Stand and/or walk throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment
• Handle deliveries and perform additional duties as assigned
• Cross-train across restaurant roles for growth opportunities
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Physical Requirements:

• Bend and reach overhead regularly
• Handle kitchen equipment dexterously
• Work in hot and cold temperatures, near open flames, and in tight spaces
• Maintain constant communication with team members
• Have good vision (near, distance, peripheral)
• Occasionally sit, squat, kneel, and work outdoors
