Job summary

Bix in San Francisco's financial district is seeking a full-time grill cook with 1-2 years of experience for its fast-paced, fine dining kitchen. This role emphasizes high-quality food, timely service, and strict sanitary standards.

You will work closely with chefs and prep staff, operate the pantry/oyster station, and ensure proper timing and presentation for every course while keeping stations clean and organized.

Bix, an established sophisticated supper club located on the edge of San Francisco’s financial district, currently seeking a talented full time grill cook with 1-2 years of experience to join our team.

We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a high energy fast paced kitchen.

Grill Cooks are responsible for preparing high quality food in a timely, efficient, safe and sanitary manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate the pantry/oyster station
• Following established recipes, procedures, and presentation
• Ensure that dishes are timed correctly for parties of restaurant patrons
• Meeting food and safety standards.
• Maintain stations in a clean, sanitary and orderly manner
• Partner with Chefs, Prep Cooks, Dishwashers, Runners, Managers, and other team members to ensure that each and every guest receives exceptional food and hospitality.

We are a fast paced, fine dining kitchen and require everyone have a team spirit and a professional attitude.

PAY SCALE: Hourly Non-Exempt from $19.61-$25.00 DOE
