Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Grill Cook at Stevenson University – Green Spring Campus in Owings Mills. You will prepare nutritious dishes with a customer-service focus, working afternoons/evenings with rotating weekends. Full-time or part-time opportunities with comprehensive benefits.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and eager to help maintain a healthy, safe kitchen environment. 0–2 years of related experience is a plus.

• Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, grill, and present hot/cold items for meals.
• Read and measure ingredients, follow recipes, and portion items.
• Operate grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment as needed.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and maintain food safety standards.
• Support other duties as required by client needs.

Workdays/shifts: Afternoon/evenings - varying days, and rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay Range: $20.70 per hour - $20.70 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
