Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Grill Cook in the United States to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and present hot and cold dishes with a focus on quality and customer service, while reducing food waste.

Weekday shifts and full-time hours are available, with a supportive, team-oriented environment. You will read and measure ingredients, operate grills and related equipment, and ensure timely service for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and catered events.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented and reliable, able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• 0–2 years related experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present hot/cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• Prepare food and serve at a la carte or operate grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attend shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties as assigned per client needs.

Pay Range: $25.00 per hour - $26.00 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
