Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Grill Cook for UMASS MEMORIAL HEALTH CARE-MARLBOROUGH HOSPITAL in Marlborough, MA. You'll be part of a kitchen team, preparing nutritious dishes and delivering friendly service.

The role requires working weekdays in morning shifts, full-time employment, and a pay rate of $18 per hour. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience and a collaborative, safety-minded attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipe(s).
• May operate grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attends work and shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour - $18.00 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You'll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.

• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)

• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
