Job summary

Sodexo at Northampton Community College is seeking a Grill Cook to join a team that serves students and staff. You will prepare a variety of hot and cold items with care for portioning, presentation, and customer service.

This part-time role offers flexible shifts, on-site work, and opportunities for training and advancement within Sodexo's global food service organization.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable and reliable in a kitchen team setting.
• 0–2 years of related experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, grill, and present hot and cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment and serve customers.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.

Employment Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $16 - $20

What You’ll Do:

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
