Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Grill Cook at University of Southern Maine in Gorham for afternoon/evenings, full-time. You will be a team player who prepares and presents nutritious dishes while keeping customer service at the heart of your work.

You will read recipes, portion and grill items for meals and events, participate in clean and safe kitchen practices, and support the team with reliable attendance. Sodexo offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour - $19.00 per hour
