Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time electric system conditions using EMS
• Operate and control transmission facilities per standards
• Coordinate with field personnel and utilities for outages
• Maintain voltage levels and power flows for reliability
• Perform high-voltage switching safely during normal and emergency conditions
• Communicate planned and unplanned outages per regs
• Assist in development of transmission ops procedures and manuals
• Support EMS system integrity and system updates
• Maintain records to meet NERC/ERCOT/WECC/LSPG requirements
• Provide shift coverage as scheduled
• Participate in required NERC certification training
• Perform other related duties as assigned
