Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. in Lawrence, PA, seeks a Lines Planner/Scheduler to manage short-range planning and scheduling for overhead/underground facilities.

You will analyze results, coordinate with operations teams, and drive process improvements to maximize productivity and safety. This full‑time on‑site role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent experience), plus knowledge of planning/scheduling tools such as CLICK, CREWS, PowerOn, CAD, and SAP.

Qualifications

Education - Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline + 1-2 years related work experience. In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, minimum of 3 years related work experience is required.
Self-motivated and able to multitask and balance competing priorities.
Possess solid verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with PC software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook), along with knowledge of SAP, GIS, CREWS, CLICK, PowerOn, CAD/AutoCAD, and Energy Delivery Outage Application.
Gain knowledge of planning/scheduling best practices, processes, and tools.
Gain knowledge of NESC, NEC, CGES.

Responsibilities

Provide short-range planning and scheduling of operational processes.
Assist in establishing work commitment dates and expediting projects when possible.
Distribute work via CLICK and assign to crews.
Coordinate with internal/external customers on inquiries about construction and maintenance.
Develop a two-week plan and a one-month projection of activities.
