Zusammenfassung

WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Grid Modernization Engineer for our Boise, ID office, with consideration for Denver, CO; Kansas City, MO; or Redmond, WA. You will join the Distribution Advanced Studies Team to modernize distribution systems, including FLISR, Volt-Var optimization, ADMS, and DER solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5–7 years of experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work across teams with initiative.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design for large capital projects.
• Strong English communication, written and oral, including presenting and guiding others.
• Willingness to travel as projects require.
• Ability to work across teams and learn new topics independently.
• Proven safety record and adherence to workplace policies.

Aufgaben

• Modernize utility distribution systems including planning, justification, and ongoing support of grid modernization programs.
• Prepare data visualizations, tables, charts, and calculations for complex analyses.
• Lead and perform engineering tasks on strategic projects with long-term business impact.
• Track project schedules and budgets and collaborate across disciplines.
• Participate in industry groups and present at conferences.
• Travel as required by project needs.
