Job summary
Hitachi Energy USA Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to design and configure SCADA/EMS solutions for grid operations in the US.
The role translates customer needs into technical architectures, delivers demonstrations, and maintains configuration databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will support integration of Docker, Kubernetes and SaaS, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with SCADA/EMS, OTS, or GMS systems.
- Knowledge of power system operations and grid automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure SCADA/EMS solutions for grid operations.
- Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients.
- Build and maintain configuration databases for SCADA/EMS applications.
- Support integration of Docker, Kubernetes and SaaS technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery.
- Provide technical expertise during pre-sales and implementation phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues for optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations and guidelines.
