Job summary

Watermark BR in downtown Baton Rouge, LA seeks a part-time Restaurant Server to report to the Restaurant Manager and Director of Food & Beverage. You will deliver attentive, courteous service, take orders, and process payments in one of two dining facilities, The Gregory and Milford’s on Third.

The role requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and hotel/food service exposure. This tipped position offers benefits and opportunities to grow within a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

• Approaching all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.

• Being familiar with the organization of the Restaurant(s), lounges, and Room Service and know the function of each job position.
• Having a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in applicable outlets.
• Servicing guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.

Watermark BR , located beautiful downtown, is looking part-time Restaurant Servers, who would report to the Restaurant Manager and Director of Food & Beverage. The Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. He/she is also responsible for receiving and delivering guests orders and collecting payment. Service could be provided in any one of our two dining facilities - The Gregory, our upscale restaurant that offers a range of Southern cuisine, or Milford’s on Third, our New York City style deli with Southern-charmed offerings that remind you of home.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field prepared.

Our one of a kind hotel is a part of the Marriott's Autograph Collection and boasts of a historic classic design both inside and out. Built as Baton Rouge's first "skyscraper" in the 1927, our iconic building started out as the headquarters for Louisiana Trust & Savings Bank. After more than 50 years serving as a banking institution, our landmark continues to be informally called the Old Louisiana National Bank building.
