National Car Rental in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a friendly Greeter to provide efficient service during the rental process, especially in the Emerald Aisle. You will greet Members, assist with vehicle selection, and guide customers to exit booths and directions.

The role emphasizes quick, accurate transactions and teamwork with shuttlers and agents to ensure a welcoming environment. Starts at $16.50/hour; requires HS diploma and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year prior customer service retail or administrative support experience.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in past 3 years.
• No drug/alcohol related conviction on driving record in past 5 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Must be willing to work at $16.50/hour.
• Must be available for listed schedules.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members entering the facility and direct them appropriately.
• Provide directions, maps, and return instructions to customers.
• Assist with questions to minimize counter visits and respond to issues.
• Maintain Emerald Aisle and ensure vehicle supply with shuttle teams and staff.
• Support in creating a fast, friendly, accurate rental process.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality; perform related duties as assigned.

The Greeter will provide superior, friendly, efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process as it applies to the Emerald Aisle rental process. Responsible for greeting and fulfilling club member needs in a friendly efficient environment as they relate to the Emerald Aisle rental process. Provide member with appropriate vehicle selection as determined by the Emerald Aisle program guidelines. Create and maintain a friendly, efficient environment for all customers. Assist in making all transactions quick and efficient.

Pay for this position starts at $16.50. This position is located at 600 Terminal Drive Unit 202 Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33315.

Responsibilities

• Work proactively with shuttlers, auto detailers, return agents and managers to ensure proper vehicle supply
• Welcome members to the facility when they exit the bus or arrive on the lot
• Direct customers to exit booth, provide local directions and maps and provide return directions where applicable
• Assist members with questions and concerns to minimize counter visits
• Communicate customer service issues to management
• Ensure that hangtag information is completed correctly
• Maintain clean low mileage fleet mix requirements
• Maintain Emerald Aisle for cleanliness
• Thank member for their business
• Provide upgraded vehicles on request
• Perform other customer service related duties in addition to those listed, to ensure our service meets the needs of our customersSeek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
