Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc. seeks a part-time Greet Team Member to be the first friendly face for members and visitors at our Albuquerque club. You will assist with membership verification, field inquiries, and guide tours while supporting sales goals.

The role requires a year of customer service and cash handling experience, strong communication, and a willingness to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Gym memberships and incentive programs enhance the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a customer service-oriented position.
• Minimum of one year cash handling experience.
• Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and GymSales/ABC systems.
• CPR/AED certification within 45 days of employment and maintain thereafter.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests professionally and courteously.
• Verify membership status and respond to questions or concerns.
• Work with Greet Team Manager to achieve club sales goals.
• Answer or direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility through periodic walks.

The Greet Team Member is the first point of contact for members, potential members, vendors and anyone entering or calling the facility. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner
• Verify membership status and respond accordingly to questions, concerns, etc.
• Work with Greet Team Manager to achieve club sales goals
• Answer and/or direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously
• Conduct periodic club walks to ensure a clean and safe facility
• Accurately process money transactions
• Place calls to prospective members regarding new promotions
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace
• Communicate all club concerns and member inquiries to management daily
• Provide tours for prospective members

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service-oriented position
• Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience
• Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products, such as ABC and GymSales
• Valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment and maintain throughout employment
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
