The Greenskeeper role involves providing quality service that exceeds guest and member expectations, proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations, and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with all needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate walking and riding mowers, including greens, tee, fairway, and rough mowers, as well as rollers, bunker rakes, carts, and hand tools to maintain golf course grounds and landscaping.
• Maintain equipment properly, operate safely, and report any issues to supervisors immediately.
• Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough; rake bunkers; weed-eat and push mow bunker faces.
• Set cups and move tee markers; hand-water greens and tees; assist with irrigation repairs.
• Perform custodial tasks such as cleaning and stocking restrooms, sweeping paths, trash collection, and floor mopping.
• Report problems and emergencies promptly; perform minor building maintenance and light carpentry as needed.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and sod; mulch and edge beds; prepare beds for planting; water plants.
• Respond to tasks assigned by supervisors and assist in other departments as needed.
• Attend monthly departmental meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company MVR requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform arm/hand movements for up to 30 minutes per hour.
• Proficiency in turf/plant fertilization, chainsaw use, woody plant installation, construction, hardscapes, and skid-steer operation.
