Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group in Montrose, CO is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to maintain golf course turf. You will grade new turf, apply fertilizer, mow rough and fairways, lay sod, and assist with sprinkler heads while working with a team.

The role is 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays, with a starting wage of $20.00 per hour. CoralTree offers health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, employee meals, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs frequently.
• No education required; 1 month of golf course or landscape maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
• Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds/turf of golf course in playing condition.
• Grade new turf area; apply fertilizer; mow rough and fairway areas; cut turf.
• Assist with sprinkler head system; lay sod; dig and rake ground; grade and clean traps.
• Plant and trim trees and shrubs; use hand tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, weed-eaters, backpack blowers, golf maintenance carts, rakes and shovels).
