Job summary

Founders Group is seeking a Greenskeeper at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, SC. The position pays $15.00 per hour and requires a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.

You will maintain all grounds, bunkers, tees, fairways, and greens, operate walking or riding mowers, and prepare the course for daily play while working with the team in a positive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have working knowledge of all golf course specific operations.
• Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk a minimum of five miles daily, lift 70 lbs, stand or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of property grounds.
• Maintain bunkers, mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, greens (walking or riding greens mower only).
• Blow clippings and debris.
• Set up golf course for daily play.
• Spread pine straw and mulch, spray weeds.
• Promote a positive working environment and relationship with all team members in all departments and divisions.
• Additional duties as deemed necessary.
• Must be able to perform tasks in an acceptable time frame.
• Must work well with others in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.
