Job summary

Mansion Ridge in Monroe, NY seeks a full-time greenskeeper for a seasonal, six-month assignment. You will support golf course maintenance, operate equipment, and help with course setup to ensure a great experience for members and guests.

The role requires basic landscape maintenance skills, valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn Troon-standard practices. Compensation is $17.00-$17.50 per hour with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education.
• Up to one month related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs general landscape maintenance using riding and handheld equipment.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.

Mansion Ridge, located in Monroe, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation

$17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Summary

Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. Performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general landscape maintenance using riding and handheld equipment.

Education/Experience

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Regularly stands, walks, sits, and uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Regularly talks or hears and lifts up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds.

Environment/Noise

Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and works near moving mechanical part. Occasionally works in high, precarious places and in areas with fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally works in extreme heat (non-weather) and experiences vibration. Noise level is loud.
