Job summary

Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, TX, part of Troon, is seeking a full-time Greenskeeper to maintain grounds and contribute to a positive experience for members and guests. As an associate of Troon, you will join a global leader in golf and community management.

You will operate hand held equipment, rake bunkers, trim and mow with small machinery, and assist with course setup while growing knowledge of golf club operations. A valid driver's license and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• One month related experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Kissing Tree Golf Club, located in San Marcos, TX, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$14.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper:

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
