Job summary

Oneida Golf & Country Club in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Greenskeeper to maintain and improve the golf course grounds. You will be responsible for mowing greens, approaches, fairways and related areas, raking bunkers, preparing soil, laying sod, and supporting maintenance operations.

Beginner greenskeepers are welcome; no prior experience required, though a valid driver's license is required and English literacy may be needed to follow manuals.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Rake bunkers, mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
• 40 Hours / week plus some weekend mornings through the golfing season

Education

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Valid Driver’s License

English reading/speaking may be required

We're hiring a Greenskeeper for Oneida Golf and Country Club.

Ideal candidates have a passion for landscaping and nurturing our grounds. As a Grounds Keeper, you will be responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. Beginner Greenskeepers are welcome – while knowledge of grounds maintenance is preferred, previous experience is not required for the position.

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed.

Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, landscape, and equipment maintenance.
