Job summary

Alpine Country Club in Cranston, RI is seeking a seasonal full-time greenskeeper to join Troon’s golf and hospitality team. You will contribute to course maintenance while learning and growing in a fast-paced environment on a renowned property.

The role emphasizes reliability, basic groundskeeping skills, and a willingness to perform a range of tasks from bunker upkeep to course setup. A valid driver’s license is required for this six-month position.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or golf course maintenance is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Seasonal, six-month assignment or less; reliable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery for edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed, or vegetative material.
• Assists with course detail such as weed and debris cleanup.
• Supports golf course setup procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles to haul material and remove debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to pruning and related tasks.
• Adheres to safe work practices on the course.
• Fulfills additional duties as needed.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

One-month related experience or training.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance
• This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.
