Job summary

Keller North America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for our Greensboro, NC location.

The role covers business development, proposal preparation, risk and financial management, and project planning and execution to ensure profitability and on-time delivery. Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering or construction management background, 7+ years in geotechnical or related fields, and strong communication and technical writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7+ years geotechnical, construction or related experience.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and computer skills.
• Experience in piling, shoring and grouting operations.

Responsibilities

• Business Development and Proposal Preparations: Identifies opportunities, coordinates with management, and supports strategy.
• Risk Management: Understands Keller risk policies and mitigates major risks.
• Initial Planning: Designs, submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling.
• Project Execution: Ensures work meets requirements and project stays on schedule and budget.
• Change Management: Identifies and tracks changes; escalates as needed.
• Financial Management: Monitors weekly/monthly reports, forecasts and budgets; manages AR collections.
• Safety and Quality Assurance: Complies with safety requirements; addresses quality nonconformances.
