Job summary

Keller is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our Greensboro, NC team. The role supports business development, proposal preparation, and project execution for geotechnical and construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 7+ years of related experience, with strong communication skills and experience in piling, shoring and grouting operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities and coordinate with management for support and strategy.
• Assemble proposals including risk assessment, evaluating opportunities to increase profit, estimating, engineering, technical writing, site visits and client Q&A.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure understanding of contract requirements.
• Coordinate with pre-construction team.
• Understand Keller risk management policies and procedures and implement them on projects.
• Plan pre-project meetings and develop strategies to maximize profitability.
• Ensure work meets specified requirements and stays on schedule and within budget.
• Identify and address changes; escalate as needed.
• Monitor weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets and other metrics; manage A/R collections.
• Ensure compliance with Keller and OSHA safety requirements; support employees and project teams in safety and quality issues.
