Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a Golf Course Equipment Operator to maintain all golf course areas and the maintenance facility with safe operation of golf course machinery.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for long periods, and performing duties outdoors in varied weather, with knowledge of golf rules a plus. On-site, full-time position with responsibility for mulch spreading and daily upkeep of greens and tees.

Qualifications

• Prefer previous experience on golf course or construction site (including use of Heavy Equipment).
• Must be able to bend, stretch and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel and work in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all golf course areas and maintenance facility.
• Operate equipment safely and use hand-held tools as listed.
• Spread mulch three times per week and handle mulch loading.
• Report equipment issues to the Equipment Manager.
• Walk greens and tees; daily equipment and facility cleanup.
• Ensure safety practices per company programs and PPE use.
