Little Leaf Farms seeks a Water Operator to monitor and maintain greenhouse water systems, ensuring reliable irrigation delivery and water quality. You will troubleshoot control-system trends, inspect pumps and sensors, and support system improvements.

The role requires interpreting readings, hands-on maintenance, and clear communication across teams, with safety as a priority in a greenhouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in technical equipment and water systems.
• Ability to interpret numerical readings, trends, alarms, and process data.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor greenhouse water treatment, irrigation, filtration, disinfection, dosing, storage, and distribution systems.
• Monitor readings (pH, EC, ORP, temperature, pressure, flow) and verify with field measurements.
• Use control systems to review live status, alarms, and historical trends; identify deviations and effects of actions.
• Inspect and service pumps, valves, filters, UV/ozone equipment, dosing and fertilizer systems, tanks, sensors, and piping.
• Support trials, system modifications, and improvements to reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain logs and clear handoffs for next shift.
