Job summary

Brightfarms Inc. is seeking a hands-on supervisor to support the Ag seeding team in our Lorena greenhouse. You will lead the seeding crew during production runs, provide daily guidance, and assist with staff scheduling and task delegation.

The role requires previous farm operations experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Benefits start day one and a collaborative, safety-driven culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Previous farm operations experience including crop planting and equipment management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train employees in day-to-day processes to develop skills.
• Achieve daily sowing goals and ensure production targets are met.
• Manage daily seeding tasks, cleanliness, PMs, and line maintenance.
• Oversee ordering and timely delivery of inputs; ensure FSQ compliance.
• Record operational data and communicate issues to maintenance.
• Foster collaboration with peers and cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
