Greenhouse Research Technician — Growth & Data

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments in greenhouse settings to support crop research and development projects.
• Monitor and manage plant growth, including watering, fertilizing, and pest control.
• Collect and record data on plant performance, health, and growth conditions.
• Assist in the design and implementation of research protocols and experiments.
• Maintain greenhouse equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with research scientists and other team members to achieve project goals.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to summarize findings.
• Stay current with advancements in greenhouse technology and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Agronomy, Biology, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a greenhouse or agricultural research setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of plant physiology and horticultural practices.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
