Job summary

Arkansas State University Beebe campus is seeking an Institutional Work Study student to assist in greenhouse and orchard operations. The role supports daily plant care and campus horticulture activities.

Duties include watering, pest control, harvesting, pruning, propagating plants, setting up seasonal sales, weed eating, mowing, and related tasks. This is a 5-hour-per-week position for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 with pay at $11.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of propagation, plant care practices and greenhouse management.
• Experience with lawncare equipment (lawn mower, weed eater) is preferred.
• Must be enrolled as a student in the current term at ASU-Beebe campuses.

Responsibilities

• Water plants daily and perform pest control as needed.
• Harvest, prune, propagate plants, and support seasonal sales setup.
• Perform cleaning and general upkeep, including weed eating and mowing.
