Qualifications

  • Greenhouse Gases and climate concepts with emissions calculations experience.
  • Engineering analyses and verification of environmental data.
  • Interpret federal/state greenhouse gas rules and regulations.
  • Evaluate data, identify discrepancies, recommend corrective actions.
  • Build relationships with electric power entities, fuel suppliers, facilities.
  • Guide regulated entities through greenhouse gas reporting requirements.
  • Prepare clear engineering documentation and use reporting tools.
  • Organize tasks, maintain documentation, meet deadlines.
  • Communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Engineer-in-Training credential or related education as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Review emissions report submissions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Apply engineering knowledge to calculate and review report submissions.
  • Conduct analyses and review protocols for the greenhouse gas program.
  • Maintain relationships and communicate with entities and interested parties.
  • Conduct environmental inspections and engineering reviews of equipment.
  • Identify complex issues in electricity and fuel markets.
  • Develop reporting tools, guidance documents, and training for regulated sectors.
  • Assist with rulemakings for electricity, natural gas, and fuel sectors.
