Job summary

Washington State Department of Ecology is seeking a licensed Environmental Engineer 3 to serve as an Air and Waste Management Engineer for the Hanford site-wide permitting and enforcement efforts. You will review and evaluate permits, assess modifications, and provide engineering recommendations in accordance with state and federal air quality regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Washington or equivalent.
• Three years of environmental engineering experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Perform professional engineering review of air permits and compliance.
• Conduct air compliance inspections and prepare enforcement recommendations.
• Develop and negotiate permit requirements for Hanford facilities.
