Job summary

JLL at Bayer Innovation Center in Marana, AZ seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to support inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and greenhouse systems. You will work with the Chief Engineer to maintain interior, exterior, and greenhouse areas, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.

Daily tasks include preventive maintenance, responding to work orders, and assisting with building operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent certification.
• 1–3 years in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical.
• Able to climb ladders to 30 ft and lift up to 80 lbs safely.
• Valid licenses as required by authorities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in greenhouse environments and adverse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and greenhouse systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting operations.
• Replace lighting, clean HVAC coils, and maintain climate-related equipment.
• Update work orders in CMMS and assist with asset upkeep.
