Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent trade school credentials.
• Minimum 5-10 years of Facility or Manufacturing technical maintenance experience.
• Technician or mechanic or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and one-line drawings.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude in HVAC, commercial electrical, irrigation-plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
• Advanced knowledge of power tools, measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments for energy efficient solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to perform under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work off-shift, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Understands and complies with company policies.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical/mechanical aspects of automated greenhouse equipment.
• Repair conveyors, labelers, irrigation, fan systems, and associated critical infrastructure.
• Repair or replace adjustable & wearable components (belts, chains, cables, hoses, bearings, pulleys).
• Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment within specifications.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs, components, and communications modules (Photo Eyes, Sensors, Limit Switches, Transducers).
• Troubleshoot power distribution systems, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring up to 480V 3 Phase.
• Provide support installing electrical drops, outlets, and lighting according to code.
• Assess vendor completed projects for quality of work.
• Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
• Utilize MMS system to track labor hours, procedures, PM/CMs, and inventory.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO, Arc Flash, and OSHA standards.
• Navigate ladders and catwalks safely, work at heights.
• Work in variable environmental conditions and temperatures.
• Use hand and powered tools with precision and safety.
• Design and fabricate solutions to improve facilities.
