Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. in California seeks an experienced grower team member to execute cultivation plans, manage irrigation, climate, and pest control systems, and support harvesting and propagation activities.

You will train new staff in cultivation techniques, maintain crop growth data, ensure safety policies, coordinate planting with Operations, handle quality evaluations, troubleshoot greenhouse and irrigation issues, and complete Priva modules on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Executes the Grower’s plan according to the company’s production plan.
• Manage the growing environment for optimal plant growth through irrigation, temperature, climate and pest & disease control systems.
• Coordinate planting activities with Operations Department.
• Train new team members in cultivation techniques, including irrigation, and pest control.
• Ensure all safety policies are followed and enforced.
• Assist Grower in establishing and maintaining crop growth data records.
• Maintain strain and phenotype data to assist with cultivation decisions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Grower.
• Performs Quality Evaluations on Greenhouse work.
• Troubleshoot Greenhouse and Irrigation issues.
• Complete modules Introduction Horticulture and Water Introduction and pass within 6 months; continue Priva Modules every 6 months.
