Job summary

You will collaborate with Platform teams to design scalable systems, ship tooling for teams to write, build, test, and distribute IDE extensions, and help provide seamless access to docs and patterns within the IDE.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping tooling for IDEs, CLIs, or web UIs.
• Product-focused mindset translating customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Able to work through ambiguity in greenfield projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication across teams.
• Proficiency in JVM languages (Java/Kotlin) or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience writing IDE plugins for JetBrains IDEs or VSCode.

Responsibilities

• Integrate IntelliJ and other JetBrains IDEs with Netflix's internal workspace product.
• Build tooling and libraries to simplify writing, building, testing, and distributing IDE plugins.
• Collaborate with Platform teams to pull context and guidance into the IDE with in-IDE flows.
• Establish engagement models with users and Platform partners.
