Job summary

NWH is the premier Hardwood Lumber producer with facilities nationwide. This role focuses on green lumber sales and procurement in the Glacial Region, reporting to the Director of Procurement.

Location includes Grand Rapids, MI and Dorchester, WI, and requires travel, strong analytics, and proven negotiation skills to maintain inventories and supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

• College degree with at least 5 years of practical lumber industry experience preferred or equivalent employment experience desired.
• Competent computer skills
• Ability to travel on a regular basis
• Capable of working in a team environment and alone with little supervision
• Excellent analytic and negotiation skills
• Strong commitment to personal, team, and supplier/contractor safety
• Strong skills in problem solving
• Must have a clean driving record from Bureau of Motor Vehicles
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills - written and oral
• Ability to develop peer-to-peer relationships.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI and Dorchester, WI

Compensation

Salary is commensurate to the candidates' experience in the field of lumber sales and procurement. Mileage/Travel expense program is in addition to the salary offer.
