Job summary

Peet’s Coffee in Minnesota (Brooklyn Center) seeks a Green Coffee Warehouse Operator to ensure smooth flow from arrival to production. You will load and blend green coffee, receive inbound shipments, and operate forklifts and other equipment to move and store materials.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety, GMPs, and SSOPs, with on-site 2nd shift hours 3:30pm–12:00am and hourly pay between $19 and $21. You will contribute to quality and packaging, supporting production and keeping a clean,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/production setting and/or a fast-paced environment.
• Previous forklift driving experience.
• Basic manufacturing equipment familiarity and setup knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Load and blend green coffee to meet daily production needs.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store inbound coffee shipments.
• Operate equipment (forklifts, Strong Arm, tumble drum) to move, unload, and package materials.
• Package blended coffee into supersacks for production and shipment.
• Monitor and document quality, food safety, and operational procedures.
• Identify and escalate issues related to quality, safety, production, or equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (GMPs, SSOPs).
• Support efficient material flow and warehouse organization.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in trainings and support other production areas as needed.

The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education, certifications or licenses, other legitimate non-discriminatory business factors, and the geographic location of the role.
