Energy Jobline ZR in Rock Hill, SC seeks a Chemical Operator for 2nd shift. You will handle powders, liquids, solvents, and batch sheets to produce quality polymers with a green process.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to multitask, and teamwork. Compensation is $20/hour with 2nd shift hours Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:00pm and benefits including 401k, holiday pay, and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have chemical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team.
• Experience reading batch sheets and performing process checks.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with powder and liquid chemicals & solvents (caustic).
• Chemical conversions on starches.
• Reading batch sheets.
• Gathering and mixing raw materials based on the batch sheet.
• Testing and readings throughout the process (checking pressure, temperature, etc.).
• Bagging out the finished products.
• Shrink wrapping bags.
• Loading onto pallets with sit-down forklift.
