Job summary

Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking an entry-level Assistant Construction Manager to support detailed planning and scheduling of self-performed construction work, prepare bid packages for subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate holds a construction management degree (associate or bachelor’s) with internship or co-op experience, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a construction management degree (associate or bachelor’s) and relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
• Understanding Lean Construction/Six Sigma principles preferred.
• Experience with AI tools (Copilot) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and input to engineering information for constructability and completeness.
• Develop detailed execution plans and deliverables for field and subcontractors.
• Support safety plans and safety in the field.
• Develop labor and material estimates and enter requisitions.
• Manage project costs; create cost reports and process change orders.
• Schedule and coordinate construction crews; track progress.
• Interface with Owner, engineers, field supervision and subcontractors.
