Job summary

Red Frog Solutions is seeking a Commercial Construction Manager to join our on-site team on a Green Bay, WI project site. This full-time role focuses on planning, scheduling, and managing construction for large chemical or manufacturing plants, with self-perform and subcontracted work.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial and commercial construction, with experience in piping, tanks, conveyors, and related systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the industrial or commercial construction industry.
• Experience overseeing projects involving piping, tubing, tanks, conveyors, and setting equipment and systems.
• Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Ability to produce detailed estimates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage construction projects (self-perform and subcontracted).
• Prepare bid packages for subcontract work.
• Ensure safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.

Job description

Global leader in renovation, construction, and design-build services, is looking to hire a Commercial Construction Manager to join as a full-time permanent employee to work onsite on our Green Bay, WI project sites.

The Construction Manager is responsible for performing detailed planning, scheduling, and management of construction projects (self-perform and subcontracted) on a large chemical or manufacturing plant. They will prepare bid packages for subcontract work and ensure work is executed in line with safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets, as well as corporate and client expectations.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in the industrial or commercial construction industry, industrial preferred Previous experience overseeing projects involving piping, tubing, tank, conveyor, and setting equipment and systems highly desired Extensive knowledge of construction and engineering means and methods Experience in producing detailed estimates Adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast-paced work environment Demonstrate integrity consistent with Bilfinger’s core values Collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and styles Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include clear, concise, and professional presentation of information Adapt to the constantly evolving world of technology, design, means and methods, systems may include but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Lean Construction Principles, other construction systems Mentor and train assistant level operations team members A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is highly desired
