Job summary

Wind River Environmental is hiring a maintenance technician in Crofton, MD to service grease traps for commercial chain accounts, including restaurants and supermarkets. You will locate, uncover and assess traps, pump grease and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include driving to sites, adhering to DOT regulations, communicating with customers, and completing service paperwork. Ability to work overtime and on-call rotations is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience.
• High-School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, and road exams.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective communication between customers and Wind River Environmental.
• Inspect grease trap buildup and hazards.
• Drive truck to and from job site, following all traffic laws.
• Remove grease buildup from grease trap systems, inside and outside.
• Work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
