Job summary

TransUnion LLC in Reston, VA, seeks a Sr Manager, InfoSec Risk Management & Governance to lead the Global Cyber GRC function, partnering with senior leaders to shape strategy, governance, and reporting.

This hybrid role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity/risk, senior-executive liaison experience, and strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and PCI DSS to translate risk into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, governance or related field.
• Experience supporting senior executives through strategic planning and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience leading Cyber GRC and translating complex requirements into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks including NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, PCI DSS and SOX.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to the SVP, translating priorities into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Develop multi-year strategies, operating plans, roadmaps, and a centralized operating rhythm for Global Cyber GRC.
• Lead development of KPIs, KRIs, risk-reduction measures, dashboards, and governance reporting.
• Create executive presentations and board-ready materials translating cyber risk into business insights.
• Lead a small team responsible for GRC reporting, performance metrics, and executive communications.
• Modernize and automate Cyber GRC processes using AI, workflow automation, analytics, and new tech.
• Partner with multiple stakeholders to improve risk, control and compliance reporting.
• Oversee budget planning, workforce planning, and financial tracking for Global Cyber GRC.
• Monitor strategic initiatives and transformation efforts, reporting progress and risks.
