Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a mid-to-senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance professional focused on third-party risk management and customer trust. You will act as a security-minded presales engineer for the sales team, develop deep knowledge of SpaceXSI’s technical environment, and help operate third-party risk and vendor management processes.

The role requires fluency in AI governance, CI/CD, IAM, DevOps/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and IT/AI governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security or a STEM field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, GRC, third-party risk, or related roles with customer-facing responsibilities.
• Experience completing vendor security questionnaires and engaging in security due diligence with enterprise buyers.
• Technical fluency across AI/LLM platforms, CI/CD, IAM, DevOps/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
• Understanding of frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and how controls map to questionnaires.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team as a cybersecurity/GRC presales partner; attend meetings and answer security questions with accuracy.
• Own and improve responses to vendor security questionnaires, RFPs, and assessments; maintain a knowledge base.
• Build fluency across SpaceXSI environments (AI/LLM governance, CI/CD, IAM, Kubernetes) to advise customers and engineers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Legal, and Product to keep materials current with evolving architecture and controls.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable internal asks and distinguish must-have commitments from out-of-scope demands.
• Contribute to third-party risk policies, standards, and procedures.
