Job summary

OpenAI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Lifecycle Assurance IC to scale the GRC function across our product stack, ensuring compliance at launch and prompt regression detection.

You will partner with Product, Security, Legal, and Privacy to maintain trust with customers, auditors, and regulators. You will own end-to-end product assurance from inception to post-launch monitoring, build key controls in our infrastructure, and enable teams with guardrails and CI/CD conformance checks to meet

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operation of OpenAI’s product assurance from development to post-launch monitoring.
• Own the GRC program, governing Safety, Deployment, Security, and Legal reviews to surface risk.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and accountability across the product assurance program.
• Build controls and scalable processes in the infrastructure stack, workflows, and launch tooling.
• Ensure teams have guidance to design and launch safe products.
• Map compliance, security and privacy to verifiable controls.
• Align the program with organizational goals and partner roadmaps.
• Apply sound judgement in launch reviews and manage OAI risk posture.
