Job summary

The Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) is seeking a strategic GRC Analyst (ITP) to protect state tax administration through governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. You will drive automation, data analysis, and risk assessments within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance unit of the Research and Legislative Services section.

You will balance consulting with technical programming, building dashboards, and advising agency leadership on policy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of professional experience performing data analytics, QA, and GRC.
• Experience with data extraction/analysis tools (SQL, Python) and QA programs.
• Experience auditing tax data and transactions using IT tools and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engagements and design risk-based, automated tools to spot issues.
• Study business programs and document operations; interview staff; review SOPs.
