Job summary

Infosys Limited, a global digital services leader, seeks a Domain Consultant 2 in Jersey City to analyze client processes, map requirements, and document configurations for domain-specific standards.

You will benchmark, research third-party tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SOPs and workflows meet functional needs across banking, wealth management and insurance domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience may substitute degree.
• Willingness to relocate/travel to work/project location in the United States.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities and align with industry standards.
• Facilitate benchmarking studies and coordinate with stakeholders on performance standards.
• Document system configurations and draft SOPs matching functional requirements of the domain.
• Research third-party products and provide comparative analysis of features and costs.
• Coordinate implementation and support in SOP development for post-implementation stability.

In the assigned Job Role of Domain Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities and align them with industry-specific standards and best practices
• Facilitate benchmarking studies, working with stakeholders to align solution performance with industry standards and domain-specific insights
• Collaborate with technical teams and document system customizations and configurations, drafting standard operating procedures and workflows that align with functional requirements of the relevant sector
• Conduct in-depth research on third-party products within the domain, providing comparative analysis of features, costs, and scalability
• Coordinate the implementation of solutions addressing issues during setup and integration, and support in developing and maintaining SOPs, to ensure system stability and performance post-implementation

• A knack for creating detailed process maps and technical documentation with domain specialization
• Proactive approach to in conducting benchmarking studies and product research
• Familiarity with system implementation, configuration, and maintenance
• Effective collaboration and communication abilities with cross-functional teams

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in Financial Services domain expertise in one or more of the following areas - Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Regulatory Reporting, Financial Risk.
• Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, functional analysis, and Data validation.
• Experience with financial domain business processes, risk management, risk assessments and process definition, data feeds and requirement elicitation

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience & expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Flows, and managing stakeholder interactions.
• Experience SQL, Agile methodologies & prefer GRC tools (Archer, IBM Open pages)

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
